Facism or Communism which would you chose?

O.K., I'll bite. If its a global economic problem, along with rioting and food and gas shortages. I'm not sure it would matter much making a drastic extraordinary change in the form of government. But if Russia is the big dog by then, an alternate option would be to get with Australia and Canada, reach out to Great Britain and posibly have "Reunification" of the old British Empire. That would be the only thing to stop Russia in its tracks. Under your scenario of course. That being said, I don't think any Senator living in a democracy would vote to change to communism or facism.
