Why are some christians really unhelpful?

I get along with a huge number of christians but whenever i seem to ask questions on yahoo answers about religion and the help i need to find my religion, some Christians bombard me with JESUS DID COME BACK TO LIFE!!! FACT!!! doesn't this sort of not help their cause and that they should take a more undertanding approach like methodists or something???
