Why is my ferret not giving birth?

shes been pregnant since the end of may we think and she still has not given birth. her vulva has swelled up but me and my mum are sure we can feel the babies inside her. her are swollen but she hasnt started tearing out her fur for a nest yet. she has made a nest in her hutch and now we are really unsure what to do. help?
